Gabe is 10 months old!

This was a special month for you, sweet boy! Not only did you start doing lots of fun new things, but most importantly, you were baptized at our church among family and friends.

Your name, Gabriel, means "God is my strength" and that's one of the reasons we chose that name for you. I have so many hopes and dreams for you, precious one, but one of the most important ones is that you grow to know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ...and through this relationship, you also learn the true meaning of your name. "I can do everything through Him who gives me strength." (Philippians 4:13)

My love for you, as great and infinite as it is, pales in comparison to the love He has for you. He knew you long before we did, and He created you to be the special person you are. I look forward to seeing what great things He has planned for your life, as His precious one. And as your mommy, know that I will be praying for you, as I have done since the day you were created in me.

Your baptism was held at our church on February 8, 2009, and your GiGi, PaPa, Hammy, and Sassy came to celebrate this special time with you. You are blessed, little one, with a family (both near and far!) that loves you unconditionally and that will be praying for you as you grow in your faith. We love you, Gabriel!

9+ Month Milestones:

• You started clapping!
• You signed "more"
• You said your first words: Mama and Dada
• You waved Hi
• You found your voice! And you know how to use it! You learned how to scream in protest, and you get frustrated when you're told no.
• You can now climb stairs, and it's one of your FAVORITE things to do.
